North Coast Management, S.A. (“NCM”) is a corporation legally formed, domiciled and operated under the applicable laws of the Dominican Republic. NCM acts as an agent in providing access to this private vacation properties (“Property”) listed on this and other websites. As an agent, NCM has no control over the properties and can only represents what it believes to be the most accurate and up-to-date information.

NCM takes what it believes to be reasonable measures to ensure every Property offered is reputable and the services provided are as represented by their respective owners. If you reserve a Property through us which does not provide the services or offer the accommodations noted herein, we encourage you to contact us so we can ask the respective owner to correct it. We will always make good faith efforts to accurately describe accommodations and services but we cannot be held liable for any inaccuracies in these descriptions, verbal or written, or the condition and safety of the properties.

Reservation Process

Use our handy online reservation form to request the reservation in the Property of your choice;

  • One of our friendly travel assistants will reply, typically via email, to your reservation request where they will confirm availability and pricing;
  • To guarantee a reservation, we require a 50% deposit, execution of our rental agreement and providing us with a security deposit. These must be received within three (3) days of your reservation request;
  • Once the deposit and executed agreement is received, we will confirm the reservation via email and provide an electronic receipt of your payment. We will also introduce you to the assigned supervisor of the Property who will help you with any additional details related to the reservation. Please retain this information for your records;
  • The remaining fees due for the villa rental are due 10 days prior to your arrival date. If your arrival date is within 45 days of arrival, 100% of the rental amount is due immediately.
  • If we do not receive your initial deposit, rental agreement or final payment as specified we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and retain all funds paid.

Rental Conditions Overview

The following is an overview of our complete terms and conditions, which are contained in a Rental Agreement you will be required to execute as part of the reservation process. The written and executed Rental Agreement will take precedence over this overview in case of any dispute.

Currency

All charges and payments are in U.S. dollars. Wire transfer, traveler’s check, money order, cashier’s check, PayPal, or American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover are the only acceptable forms of payment. Credit cards require an additional four percent (4%) administrative fee. Other forms of payment are not acceptable without prior agreement by NCM. Full payment for all incidental expenses, including food and alcohol, are required before check-out.

Meal Plan

Villa Castellamonte provides a mandatory meal plan reflective of the exclusive luxury environment of the villa. The meal plan is priced on a daily per person basis (adjusted for age) and is designed to provide you with a broad array of fine foods and beverages throughout your stay. The meal plan covers all three main daily meals as well as snacks offered virtually any time.

You are in control of the food provided through the meal plan. A sample menu will be provided as part of your reservation confirmation so you can adjust it to fit your individual tastes and needs (remember to highlight food allergies). We do reserve the right to limit quantities and availability of certain foods.

Gratuities

The staff members at Villa Castellamonte are all exceptionally hard working and dedicated to your total enjoyment, satisfaction and relaxation during your vacation with us. To help compensate them for their extraordinary efforts, NCM requires a minimum gratuity, shown on your invoice, to be paid at the start of your stay with us. We charge this in advance to help you budget all anticipated expenses in advance.

Check-In / Check-Out

Check in time is 3:00pm on the day of arrival and check out is 11:00am on the date of departure unless special arrangements are made with NCM in advance.

External Service Providers

As a courtesy to our clients, NCM provides access to external service providers including, but not limited to, local ground transportation, spa services, entertainment and excursions. You should understand that NCM is bound by agreements with these service providers to collect payments in advance for selected services. However, NCM as no authority over the actual pricing of these services and makes no warranty, written or implied, as to the actual fees you will be charged at the time the services are utilized. As an additional courtesy, NCM will make reasonable efforts to inform you of any significant price changes but changes in those prices will not terminate, cancel or modify your reservation commitment.

Waiver and Release from Liability

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO EXECUTE A WAIVER AND RELEASE FROM LIABILITY AS PART OF THE RESERVATION PROCESS. As an overview, all guests in Villa Castellamonte (the “Property”) will be required to waive and release, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge the Property owner, NCM and their respective owners, agents, staff, employees, officers, directors, affiliates, successors and assigns, of and from any and all claims, demands, debts, contracts, expenses, causes of action, lawsuits, damages and liabilities, of every kind and nature, including any claims of owner or employee negligence, whether known or unknown, in law or equity, that you ever had or may have, arising from or in any way related to participation in any of the events or activities, and for the duration of the stay at the Property, conducted by, on the premises of, or for the benefit of, the Property provided that this waiver of liability does not apply to any acts of gross negligence, or intentional, willful or wanton misconduct.

Special Events

Weddings and other special events will involve bringing in outside services such as caterers, bartenders, cooks, musicians, servers, etc. at the sole discretion of NCM. All special events must be arranged through NCM and additional fees paid to NCM prior to the special event. The exact pricing for the coordination of these special events depends upon the event itself and will be quoted as requested and prior to your reservation commitment. Additional contractual arrangements may also be necessary.

Refunds & Cancellations

Once a rental confirmation has been issued you are still able to cancel the reservation but there will be fees associated with it. Check with us for the latest cancellation policy as it is detailed in the Rental Agreement.

A full refund is available if the villa is determined by NCM to be un-rentable due to some unforeseen circumstances. For peace of mind, we highly recommend you purchase trip cancellation insurance from your travel agent or broker.
