A “cookie” is a small text file placed on the storage device of your computer.   To help understand how the content we are publishing is best used by our customers, and to further tailor that information to their collective needs, the website collects site access and visitation statistics using these cookies.  Cookies are a industry standard mechanism used by millions of sites worldwide for this same purpose. A cookie cannot collect personal information without your entering the information and providing permission. We do not track personally identifiable individual use of the site with cookies but do collect usage information.

Although your site experience will be greatly enhanced through the use of cookies, we do not require you to allow cookies. Most browsers have the ability to block the use of cookies. If you have chosen to not allow cookies, you will still be able to view all generally accessible areas of our site without interference.

Google Analytics

Our website also Google Analytics to gather statistical data about how users generally locate, use and navigate the site.  This involves the use of cookies as described above.  Please refer to Google’s own privacy policy for further information on how it uses this data.

Web Beacons & Clear GIFs

We may gather and share information concerning the use of the site with additional third-party tracking companies for statistical reporting.  To accomplish this, some pages on the site use an image placed in the web page that may or may not be visible to you.  These so-called “clear GIFs” or “web beacons” serve the same purpose as cookies but communicate the usage information across the Internet.

For example, a web beacon may be used to track traffic patterns through the website so we may maximize the web traffic flow or improve the user experience by modifying pages.  Third-party advertising services may also use the web beacons to recognize you from their own website you have visited previously.  You probably see this same behavior when you visit Amazon.com to search for a product only to have that product show up in your Facebook News Feed as an ad.  That is a web beacon.

If you would like more information about this and to know your choices about not having this information used by these companies, please visit: the Digital Advertising Alliance’s website, http://www.aboutads.info/, or the Network Advertising Initiative’s website, http://networkadvertising.org/consumer/opt_out.asp.

Your browser or other device may include a “Do Not Track” functionality.  Our information collection and disclosure practices, and the choices that we provide to visitors, will continue to operate as described in this Privacy Policy, whether or not a Do Not Track signal is received.

The owners may, from time to time, change this statement. When it has done so, we will notify all registered users of the site of the change and allow them to revoke any and all information maintained by the site. If you are not a registered user of the site, we may change this statement without notifying you.

The use of Google Web fonts is done in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of our plugin. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.
